About Me

Hello! My name is Daniel Kelley and I am the founder of In Other Words Medical Writing, LLC. I believe strongly in the power of education to help close gaps in medicine for both patients and providers, and that health education content should be clear, compelling, and effective.

I have spent nearly two decades transforming complex ideas into engaging and resonant copy. I got my start in medical translation, ensuring the accurate transfer of knowledge and data from clinical trials performed around the world to the United States for regulatory review. I have since shifted my focus to medical writing and health education, but the principles that served me well as a translator serve as the foundation for all the work I do now. Notably, that all content should have a purpose and serve the goals of the reader.

I’m passionate about the role of technology in crafting effective learning experiences, engaging audiences, and empowering readers to find success in medicine, whether they are giving or receiving treatment.

I look forward to collaborating with you on your next project! To get started, send me a message and let me know what you’re working on.
